Where in the World is the Curator? Tokyo!

I have been invited to Japan to speak about children’s literature, literacy, the Kerlan Collection, open access, and Virginia Lee Burton.

  

This all began with request from Takenaka Corporation Gallery A4 for the loan of the materials from the Kerlan Collection.

Lisa Von Drasek will speak on Virginia Lee Burton, her books and her legacy and then Kyoko Matsuoka, the honorary director of Tokyo Children’s Library commentator and respondent.
